Ali Minichello

Senior Physiotherapist

Ali graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Otago (New Zealand) in 2009. Since this time, Ali has worked in the private practice setting in New Zealand and Australia and has gained post-graduate qualifications in Clinical Pilates, Pelvic Health, Dry Needling, Cancer Rehabilitation, Vestibular Rehabilitation and GLA:D.

Ali and her husband, Andrew, have two daughters. Claudia, born in February 2020 and Georgina, born in March 2022. With two very different pregnancies, births and postpartum recoveries, Ali has a whole new understanding and passion for treating antenatal and postpartum women. Ali is a PANDA (Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia) Community Champion. She is passionate about improving mental health awareness and conversations amongst health professionals.

Ali is a qualified female Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. Following her own pelvic floor dysfunction and subsequent surgery, Ali understands firsthand just how valuable this area of Physiotherapy can be.

Ali is a passionate runner, having completed the Melbourne Marathon as well as numerous half marathons. Ali has a special interest in guiding postpartum women safely back into exercise. With this enthusiasm for all things fitness, Ali has a particular interest in the prevention, management and rehabilitation of sports injuries. Ali has been the head Physiotherapist for rugby and amateur AFL teams.
